Composite Fences

Looking to install a garden fence that looks great and requires no maintenance? Then you need composite fencing.

Unlike real wood, composite fence panels don’t need to be replaced – nor painted, sealed, or stained. Therefore, opting for modern composite fencing panels will not only save you time, effort, and money, but it’s also much more sustainable.

FAQs

Why choose composite fence panels?

Our composite fence panels are incredibly lightweight, which makes them easy to handle and lift. And better yet, you only need a few basic tools to install them, including:

  • A spirit level to ensure every composite fence panel and post is levelAn adjustable spanner to tighten the bolts up
  • A pen or pencil to mark out where the bolts need to go (this makes drilling easier!)
  • A drill with an 8mm drill bit for fixing into timber decking or an 8mm masonry drill bit for concrete or stone

At Charles and Ivy, we supply composite fence panels for existing concrete posts and with aluminium and composite posts, which is ideal if you’ve not got existing fence posts in your garden. If you’re opting for new posts, watch our how-to-install video that talks you through the installation process in a few simple steps.

What are composite fence panels made of?

A composite fence panel is constructed from a combination of recycled plastic and reclaimed wood fibres, providing amazing durability and longevity.

Since composite fencing is made from recycled materials, our range of products are an excellent choice for eco-conscious homeowners who are eager to enhance their property while reducing their environmental footprint. They go through a process known as ‘co-extrusion’ which involves melting the wood fibres and plastic together and moulding them into the shape of composite fence panels.
