Each fence is finished with a commercial-grade fluorocarbon powder coating, backed by a 20-year guarantee, and can be tailored with fully bespoke design options to suit any setting.

Is your aluminium fencing environmentally friendly?

Yes. Aluminium is a sustainable, fully recyclable material. We also use low-VOC powder coatings and adhere to eco-conscious manufacturing practices.

What colours and finishes are available?

We offer a wide range of RAL colours, metallic finishes, and wood-effect coatings.

What are the posts made from?

The posts are manufactured using a high-grade aluminium, with an industry leading wall thickness of 1.8mm. All our metalwork is then powder coated to marine-grade standard, resulting in a robust and superior aesthetic finish.

Fence Slats:
Aria: x4 Aria Slats - 6.2cm (Height) 180cm (Width).
Toledo: x8 Toledo Slats - 2.4cm (Height) 180cm (Width).
Albany: x3 Aria Slats - 6.2cm (Height) 180cm (Width), x2 Toledo Slats - 2.4cm (Height) 180cm (Width).
Salone: x2 Salone Slats - 15cm (Height) 180cm (Width).
Gap between slats: 1.5cm.

Top and Bottom Slat Capping: 180cm in Length.
Fence Height Options: Available from 40cm to 220cm.
Aluminium Fence Posts: 80mm x 80mm.
Post-to-Post Distance: After installation, the slats and screens slot into post recesses up to 20mm, resulting in approximately 184cm from the centre of one post to the centre of the next.

Are longer slat lengths available?

Yes, we have longer slat lengths available. Please make contact with our product specialist to confirm the bespoke length you require.

Is your aluminium fencing weather-resistant?

Yes, our marine grade aluminium fencing is highly resistant to all weather conditions, including rain, snow, and UV exposure. It won’t rot, rust, or corrode, making it an excellent choice for any climate.

How long does your aluminium fencing last?

Our aluminium fencing is designed to last for decades, with a lifespan of 20 years or more. It’s highly resistant to weather, rot, and insect damage.

Does your aluminium fencing require maintenance?

No, our aluminium fencing requires minimal maintenance. Unlike wood, it doesn’t need painting, staining, or sealing. A simple cleaning with chemical free soap and water is usually sufficient to keep it looking great.

Is your aluminium fencing safe for children and pets?

Yes, composite fencing is a safe option for families. It’s free of splinters and sharp edges, and it doesn’t require harmful chemicals for maintenance, making it ideal for homes with children and pets.

What is included?

The slats you have chosen, top and bottom slat capping, post caps, fixing kits, post base plate with covers and aluminium posts to your chosen length.

Can your aluminium posts be sunk into the ground?

Yes, our posts can be installed directly into the ground. We recommend sinking 40–130 cm posts by 40 cm, and 160–220 cm posts by 70 cm.

Do I need to order an additional post to finish the run of fencing?

You don’t need to order one separately — we’ll automatically add an additional end post to your order to complete your fencing run. This ensures your fencing is supplied with everything needed for a professional finish. Please note, the additional end post will be charged at the standard price.

What if I am installing my fencing in separate sections?

If you plan to install your fencing in separate sections, you will need to purchase additional posts separately. The standard order only covers posts for a continuous run.

Can I use the posts on corners?

Yes, our aluminium posts feature slots on all sides, allowing them to be used for both straight runs and corners. We also include blanking strips to cover any unused channels for a clean, finished look.

Do you supply gates to match the fencing?

Yes, we have matching Driveway and Pedestrian gates for all of our fencing collections, these are available in different heights and will be made to your requested width.

Which delivery options do you offer?

Our delivery options are as follows:

Charles & Ivy Premium Home Delivery:
Available for all orders over £300.
For orders under £300, there will be a £30 delivery fee.
Delivered by our in-house delivery team.

Charles & Ivy Premium Next Day Home Delivery:
Available for order over £2500.
£125 delivery fee.
Delivery time: Next Working Day for orders placed before 11am.
Delivered by our in-house delivery team.

Click and Collect:
Collect your order for free from our Manchester warehouse at: Charles and Ivy, 2 Opus Cl, Carrington, Manchester, M31 4RQ
Please provide 24 hours' notice before collection.
Bring your order confirmation and a photo ID when picking up your items.

Do you offer surveys?

Yes, we offer a professional site survey. A specialist can visit your property to take measurements, assess the space, and help determine exactly what’s needed for your project.

How much does it cost?

The site survey costs £250.
If your order exceeds £3000, the full £250 site survey charge will be refunded as a discount on your order.
If your order is below £3000, you’ll still benefit – 50% of the site survey charge will be refunded as a discount on your order.

Is there a warranty?

We’re confident in the quality and durability of our products. That’s why we offer an industry-leading lifetime warranty.

What is the returns policy?

If you wish to return your items you must contact us within 30 days of purchase. If the Goods require collection, we will collect them from the address to which they were delivered. However, you may be charged a collection fee in the event you’re returning unwanted products that are not faulty or damaged. Your refund will be processed after the product is returned to our warehouse and thoroughly inspected. We will contact you to arrange a suitable time for collection.
